About me
With a career spanning over a decade in the field of education, Lacey LeFevre began as a preschool teacher in 2010 while pursuing an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. During this time, Lacey earned multiple Child Development Skill Certificates, including Associate Teacher (Preschool), School Age Programs Teacher (After School/Day Care), and Infant and Toddler Care (Private Program Teacher), culminating in a Certificate of Achievement in Child Development and an associate’s degree.
Lacey LeFevre then transferred to California State University Northridge, where they completed a bachelor’s degree in Child & Adolescent Development and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. An academic year abroad provided invaluable hands-on experience in practicum programs focused on Children with Special Needs and Children in a Multicultural Context, with teaching hours in Denmark and Turkey, and study tours in Denmark, Turkey, Sweden, and Estonia.
In addition to early childhood education, Lacey taught dance and gymnastics to children from toddlers to high schoolers. In 2017, Lacey transitioned to elementary enrichment and OST programs, discovering a passion for this area within education. At Parker-Anderson Enrichment, Lacey has progressed from Instructor to Curriculum Writer, Recruiting Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. In this role, Lacey oversees the development of inclusive, safe, and educational programs where FUN COMES FIRST!
